	Outlying Temples There are many other temples in the countryside surrounding Siem Reap. The more remote, the more secluded and atmospheric they are. Beng Malea is 60km from Siem Reap and truly has that lost jungle city atmosphere.
	Floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake Visit the remarkable Tonle Sap Lake and see entire floating villages complete with floating schools, floating churches and floating pigpens. The lake rises so much in the wet season, the trees spend half the year under water and the area is known as the Sunken Forest.
	Visit to local NGO ( Charitable Organisations ) There are many organisations in and around Siem Reap assisting and contributing knowledge and resources to the local community. An organised tour visiting a few of them is an interesting and heart-warming way to spend an afternoon.
